I took my mom Priya Goswami on a vacation to Europe which gave me a treasure chest of memories.Ģ023 was an inflection point in my life. Anytime I needed to recenter I played tennis, went on a run or went to the sauna/cold plunge. I experienced far fewer panic/anxiety attacks this year thanks to my lifestyle. I significantly reduced my alcohol intake (I genuinely enjoyed the 30 day sobriety challenge I did in August). In any other year I would have ended this post here but though I'm proud of what my team and I accomplished this year, I really feel like the real wins from 2022 are these: Quinn and I's book "The Young Entrepreneur" which was published in mid 2022 got translated to several other languages including Arabic, Italian, Korean and Vietnamese. ![]() I made a few angel investments including in Othership (bringing AGEX Capital's total investments to 22. Thanks Manny Padda and Ryan Holmes for placing your trust in me to lead the board. I became Chairman of the Board at the LOI Accelerator (a charity that is near and dear to my heart). I had the opportunity to collaborate with brands like Pennzoil (for the Montreal Grand Prix) and The HEINEKEN Company (for the Vegas Grand Prix). Thanks for the constant support Speakers Spotlight! My favorite talks were at the The University of Lethbridge and at Indeed's annual conference with Natalie (Corporate Natalie). I spoke on over 20 stages about mental health, youth entrepreneurship and personal branding. Our guest interviews (all done in-person) included Guenther Steiner, Zak Brown, Felipe Massa, Mario Isola, Calum Nicholas, Nicolas Todt, Yuki Tsunoda, Lando Norris and Daniil Kyvat. We took over 100 flights this year, visited over 20 countries and filmed over 60 episodes. I launched the Track Limits podcast with some of my best friends ( Henok (Henny) Yeshanew, Feven Yeshanew, Michael Ryan). ![]() We have some exciting news to announce in the early part of 2024. ![]() After 1.5 years (we kicked off the round in March 2022), Aanikh and I wrapped up a fundraise for Surf which allowed us to push forward, retain our core team and aggressively invest in product development. Not going to lie, this year was tough for many reasons but it was also incredibly rewarding. Happy holidays to everyone! As 2023 comes to a close I couldn't help but reflect on this year and everything that has happened.
